"La Karen Boricua"
My name is Yari, but everyone knows me as “La Karen,” a nickname inspired by the “Cat Karen” meme because of my love for animals.
I have been a volunteer for over 5 years, promoting adoptions and rehabilitating dogs that need confidence in order to find a home. Along with dog trainers, I work to give them a new opportunity.
Today, as “La Karen Boricua,” I educate about animal welfare and help people care for their pets when they are unable to do so due to travel, work, or health reasons.
